cryMy boy primo has a form of alopecia and it causes him to bald in spots and itch and scratch til he bleeds in spots. I don't now what to do can anyone help me out. The vt says there is no cure for it the only thing that helps the itching is benadryl and he gets dopey off of that. Any body got any home remedies for itching without hiom getting dopeycry

Not sure n i dont think it will do any harm but might be worth a shot, have u tried Hydro-cortisone, i might be mispronouncing it wrong but im pretty sure its that bro, its a anti-itch creme and works great. Good luck

He has been on taste of the wild for atleast six months they said this was something genetic and there is no cure

That can be caused by a food allergy. you might want to try changing food for a month and see what happens

is he an outside dog or a house dog because i learned that when i put my dogs inside they get bumps all over and start to itch so bad that he bleeds so if i was u i would put him out side to see if it goes away it did for my dogs hope it work good luck

I will try a couple of those things but they did a biopsy to discover he had this and they said it is not cureable I would like to just ease his symptoms.

Biglinz my dog has similar type of deal and my vet gave me cephalexin pills and helped big time he got it out of nowhere and about 2 or 3 weeks gone

Your right, there is no cure. But there may be something that is causing it that you can change

Try The Missing Link you can get it at petsmart.Trust me it works wonders my dog had Mange and was giving it everything the vet said then it got worse.I then started giving her the missing link and in 1 month gone.Its good for skin and coat with a bunch of good stuff in it.It covers the gap in between dog food and what they wood eat in the wild.My girl gets it everyday.Good Luck!!!    www.missinglinkproducts.com
